Alternatives investments and certain customized investment strategies may offer significant diversification and tax benefits, as well as, a hedge against financial crisis. These programs are only available to Accredited Investors.
It is my belief that sometime in the 2020s, a great unwind of debt and deflationary forces will occur. Governments and central banks will attempt to counteract the deflationary wave with inflationary policy. Eventually, that battle will come to a head and the consequences will be severe.
I have written that "helicopter money is inevitable" for several years now and given interviews. Politicians are already discussing radical "Modern Monetary Theory" and billionaire hedge fund manager Ray Dalio discussed helicopter money in 2019. For more on my thoughts, read my quarterly letters, periodic reports and follow my articles Seeking Alpha.
It is very important for families to have strategies for preserving wealth and standard of living. To that end, I offer various portfolio strategies, as well as, alternative investments.
Alternative Investments For Accredited Investors
As defined by the Securities and Exchange Commission, Accredited Investors are generally considered to be more sophisticated and/or able to participate in certain types of investments. An accredited investor, in the context of a natural person, includes anyone who:
- earned income that exceeded $200,000 (or $300,000 together with a spouse) in each of the prior two years, and reasonably expects the same for the current year, OR
- has a net worth over $1 million, either alone or together with a spouse (excluding the value of the person’s primary residence).
Certifying an accredited investor requires verification of financial status. In order to proceed further, we must qualify candidates for these investment programs. Contact me today to discuss your situation and appropriate approaches to managing your wealth.
